It's perfectly normal to be sad after your long hair is gone, but it should get better. As a married mom with little kids, cutting your hair short was the right choice. Think of all of the advantages: you will spend much less time on it, you won't have to clean up stray hairs around the house, and it won't get in the way.

If your husband likes the new look, go fishing for compliments from him. (If not, point out the advantages of short hair plus the fact that you'll get less unwanted attention from other guys.) Your women friends probably also think the new look is great; short hair is more mature and sophisticated than very long hair.

Making the choice to get the big chop is a tough one because you're giving up a very youthful and very feminine feature, but in the long run most women are glad they did it. Good luck.

ohh i know how that is, dont worry your hair will grow back in no time. Just think of it this way, life is too short to have the same style. Spice up your life. It will help if you take proper care of your hair in order for it to grow back healthy. Always get it trimmed every 3 months atleast. Try avoiding any sort of heat like blow dryers and straightners etc. Buy products that will help grow your hair healthy and strong. My hair was at my shoulders when I was 13. I barely ever straighened. Alls I did was let it hair dry and scrunch it. 4 years later my hair is down to my butt and I could be a hair model thats how healthy it is. Oh and also if you bleach your hair, that causes damage and it dries your hair out. If you are, try going to a darker color.

Hm, well think about the positive side.

    - You wouldn't have to take as long to wash/dry your hair

    - You won't be sitting on it by accident anymore

    - It won't get caught in things like zippers, etc.

xD Well don't worry, I felt the same way when I cut my hair... It was long, and that was the only time I had it THAT long, but now I love having shorter hair.

But hair will grow back :)

So in a few months your hair won't be at shoulder length anymore.

Besides, it's spring and summer will be approaching. (Here in Canada anyway) You wouldn't want to be dying of heat under your long hair would you? :P

Aaaw.. Why did you cut it?

You could maybe get extensions if you miss your hair. Might be a bit expensive. Do some research on google and youtube and have a look at hair extensions.

if you really don't like it take good care of it and it will grow back faster.

Take vitamins and an occasional trim ( which doesn't have to be more than 1/4 of an in ) will help it grow back.
