Just go to Expedia and follow the directions. They're so easy, anyone can follow them. You should be able to get fairly cheap flights to NYC from Florida. Although it is St Patricks Day this week. Get on there now for your best choices. You could also do research on Kayak.com - all the sites they use have easy to use instructions.
On any site, just input your info. Don't buy the first one you see, but the best one you see.
