Over/Under Pheasant Setup?

Just got an O/U and need some advice on setting it up for pheasant hunting. It came with a total of 5 choke tubes.(2 Improved Cylinder, 1 Modified, 1 improved Modified, and 1 full). Any recommendations on a setup. Also, what barrel is recommended to be shot first, over or under?

My idea is to shoot under first with the Modified choke, and over second with the improved Modified

Also, Most likely i will shoot #6 shells, the gun is 12GA, and is 28"

A little history on bird chokes. Some of the best English doubles

were choked 1/4 and 3/4. These are similar to our Improved cylinder and Improved modified. Those would be my choices. Bottom barrel choked Improved cylinder and the top Improved modified. Thus you want to fire the bottom barrel first. If I were duck hunting I would probably switch to Modified on bottom and full on top. Distance can be farther then.

The Best set up for what you will be Hunting is to use Improved Cylinder Choke First for our First Shot.* with the Second 2nd barrel for Your 2nd Shot use the Modified Choke.*.. Improved Cylinder & Modified is the correct Choking.* Use number 6 or 7-1/2 shot size.*

I love over unders :D. I'd say use the improved cylinder in the top, and the modified in the bottom. Shoot the bottom first, then the top. That way, when you first acquire your bird, you are probably accurate enough to hit it with a tighter choke, while on the second shot, you won't have as much time after the recoil hits you, so a looser choke will make up for that. All up to you though, personal experience gives the best advice.
