Norton Internet Security and Avast?
Okay. I have a Norton Internet Security currently installed and downloaded Avast! Antivirus Home Edition Free. When I run the setup for the latter, it states that
"Setup found another antivirus on your system. If you decide to install this program, it may conflict with the following programs: Symantec Antivirus"
What should I do? I heard Avast is good. Which is better? Can I install both and really nothing won't happen?
Thank you very much.

Hi NMQ,
This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.
If you currently have Norton Internet Security installed, you should not install any other real-time antivirus or internet security applications, as they canl cause conflicts and leave your system vulnerable to infection.
If by chance you are using Norton Internet Security 2007-2008, you are entitled to a free update to Norton Internet Security 2009, which is highly encouraged. Please NOTE, that this will upgrade your product to the latest version but will not extend the days left on your subscription.
If you have not already updated, please make note of your current Activation Key and visit the Norton Update Center at the link below to download and install the 2009 version.

properly i'm using norton internet secure practices with malwarebytes loose version .And my computing device is working solid without slowing down i do no longer turn on malwarebytes professional (even path) because it makes use of plenty factors and that i only test my computing device as quickly as in each week with the two malwarebytes and norton . the main recent version of norton internet secure practices installs in under one minute and u would desire to replace it and it could take upto a couple of minutes based upon ur internet connection pls do no longer use eset that's verrrrry weeak fairly in detecting trojans i'm using norton from few months and that i found that's greater effective than the different stupid anti virus many would say that norton would decelerate ur computing device despite if it relies upon on how u take care of the computing device i mean if u generally use ccleaner and defragment ur no longer straight forward disk then ur computing device is going easily and if u cope with it in a incorrect way it for sure is going sluggish have faith in my words use norton or mcafee extremely of avast
