TTC...please help?!?!?
So my husband and I have been TTC since we got married in September. We were using online calendars to try and track when it's a good time to baby dance. I came off the pill in September and my periods were normal. The last two months, I spotted for a week and then had period flow for 3 days. My period on the pill was ALWAYS 5 days with two days of spotting.
This month we are trying OPK, and I have not been able to get a positive result. The online calendar predicted that Tuesday-Friday is the best time to conceive. So if that's the case haven't I gotten on positive result? My friend who just went through this told me to watch my CM, but honestly it doesn't look any different anytime during the month. Yesterday though when I wiped, I noticed a clear, stretchy mucous thing. This was the first time I ever saw this. Does that mean I ovulated?
I am so confused. Please help!

well im with you on not knowing the different cm stages.. and i barely notice them if at all.. i know opks use the lh hormone surge to detect ovulation.. i would say that if it wasnt positive i would try next month and if negatives again go to the doc and ask.. bc if your periods are irregualr or negatives all month on opks for a few months then you may not be ovulating... i would definatly check with a doc in a month or two.... some opks are better than others too... i used the dollar store brand the first cycle and got a positive but this month i tried them and got all negs and realized they expired at the end of last month. im on cd 34 so if im supp to start its today... and im not sure if i ovulated this month without the opk.. if its not this month im going to use the answer opk strips next month and see how those work.. ive heard good things about them... just be sure to check the dates... i had one date on the box and another on the package inside and the package inside was last month and i got all neg but positive last month so im going with that theyre expired... try OPKS for another month or two and its no positives and no pregnancy call your obgyn! good luck and baby dust

im not sure what that was but i just wanted to share something with you. My husband and i were trying since december (thats when i stopped the pill) and we tried and we tried and nothing happened. Same with january. But then on the day i ovulated (the 25th of february) we had sex and right after wards i went and did a hand stand against the wall for about 30 seconds. I am now 2 weeks pregnant! :)
