Danio with mouth locked open?
1 of our zebra danios appears to have it's mouth stuck open. What is this? How do you treat it? Currently, he appears to be a normal weight, but doesn't appear to be able to eat.
Mixed school of zebra danios (wild, leopard, blue, glofish) in a 55 gallon tank with rosy barbs, clown loachs and a small pleco.
Water tests normal; no one else in the tank appears to have issues. Tank has been up and running over a year, no recent additions.
definetly not a birth defect, showed up in last day or two.
nothing appears lodged in mouth, but since it's small and swimming its hard to tell!
Thanks for the help.
