Xbox Live on Xbox 360 problem connecting.?
ok. basically I have bt home hub (wireless) set up downstairs and it runs through my house. i have an 360 upstairs in my room and an unofficial Belkin wireless bridge with it.
i think it is almost connected because all the tests when i try to connect it say verefied or whatever but then it fails on the xbox live symbol one. what is the problem? Is it something simple like making a live account? or is it something to do with the actual connection/bridge not configured properly etc?

To Connect to XBOX Live, you need an account. You can make a silver one for free or upgrade to Gold (multiplayer, chat, DLC) for $7.99 a month, $19.99 for 3 months, or (with the card at Wal-Mart) 13 months for $49.99. It sounds like your network is fine, all you need is an account!

you may get a instant adapter for the xbox, yet that's high priced (around one hundred$). yet another decision, is connecting a computing device to the xbox and using it as a instant adapter with ICS (internet connection sharing) - seek youtube for it in case you have an activity in that. yet another decision would be using a change, that's form of a "station" for the cable, the place you are able to connect yet another cable from it on your computing device, yet figuring out to purchase an prolonged ethernet cable is greater elementary - you may get one in any everyday computing device / game enthusiasts keep.

you have to create an xbox live account, yes. and if this is your first time doing so, you will get a free month of Gold level membership. after that, you'll have to pay for a subscription, or just use Silver, which is free, but does not let you play online multiplayer.

If you don't actually have a Live account then you can't connect to Xbox Live, otherwise it might just be that some broadband providers don't support Xbox Live.
