Do you get cerclage's put in while pregnant or before!?
I was told my last pregnancy I needed to get one put in when I went to the hospital for cramps... They sent me home without it and the next day I lost my baby at 15 weeks and 4 days.... I read a little on it but I didn't see if it has to be put in only while you're pregnant or do they do it before? And if it's only while you're pregnant, how far along do you need to be and can you still have sex after you have healed from having it put in?

A cerclage is placed on the cervix of a pregnant woman who is in the early stages of the second trimester. It is essentially 'stiching' the cervix in an attempt to keep it closed. If cervical shortening is discovered late in the second trimester, a cerclage may still be placed but it is known as an emergency cerclage and it is not as successful.
It makes no sense to place the cerclage on before pregnancy occurs and the surgery can not occur in the first trimester b/c the baby's essential organs are still developing.
Vaginal sex and baths are not permitted once a cerclage has been placed. Bed rest is also, at times, required.

A cerclage is put in during pregnancy. It is for women who have an incompetent cervix, which means that her cervix dilates without pain and in most cases causes a miscarriage or still birth. I'm guessing that is what happened to you.
Typically a cerclage will be put in during the 2nd trimester. And no, you cannot have sex while the cerclage is in place.

It has to be done after you are already pregnant--it is effectively sealing up the cervix. Usually they do it for women who have lost prior pregnancies due to early dilation (which it sounds like you have)--at about 12-15 weeks or so. Since you lost your last one at 15 weeks, I'd make them do it earlier rather than later... I think you can still have sex once you have healed, but I don't know the details on that. It gets taken out when you are full term--and many women go into labor shortly thereafter!

clary sage oil. this is never used before your due date hun. Please do not use this in the early stages of pregnancy as it can induce a misscarriage, i used this at the end of my pregnancy to help bring on labour & my midwife told me not to use it round people in the early stages of pregnancy as it may bring on labour.
