Has anyone ever heard of this paranormal research group?
I have been researching Paranormal research and investigative groups in my state. I came across one within the past couple of months called USB Paranormal Society (United Skeptics and Believers) Through my research I have learned that the group has about 400 members but I can not find out who these members are. I am only able to find the founder of the group Jonathan Watts. I also learn that this group has supposedly done over 100 investigations but there is nothing about those investigations listed anywhere. There was a USB website but it is now not working for some reason. I am not looking to find out names and addresses of their clients. Just if the cases were local, or if they were residential or in some abandoned building somewhere. I would like to find out how long this group has been operating, who the members are and if the members have any experience in the paranormal field. This is the only paranormal investigative group that I have come across that doesn't give any info on it's members, which seems a little odd to me. How do I know this is a legit group? How do I know if these "investigators" are really legit?
Any info would help.
Thanks
(I wasn't really sure what category to post this under)
---They investigate hauntings----not bigfoot or aliens
They are not a TAPS family member. I am not looking to "hire" this group for an investigation. I'm just researching.

I've never heard of them and I don't have much information on the topic at all except to suggest that you check out the TAPS family groups in your state. I only suggest it becuase some oversight is better than none and TAPS family groups have to maintain some standards to stay on the list so you are significantly less likely to be taken advantage of (belief or skepticism aside). The list can be found here: http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/tap...

For a private (homestead) examine, we first meet with the sources proprietors to establish what's occurring. we've a small questionnaire and ask to be shown the place issues are occurring. counting on the dimensions of the homestead, 2 - 4 human beings habit the certainly examine. We first do a walk with the aid of, noting issues like home equipment, (for emf readings) stairs, etc. We take baseline readings from each and each room, searching for something that is affecting the emf. We then assign an investigator to areas of the homestead to be investigated, and then change off after approximately half-hour. Our entire examine frequently takes approximately 2-3 hours, counting on the dimensions of the region and comments of activity. We then go away, evaluate the info and meet with the sources proprietors interior each week. We practice them what we've discovered and frequently provide them a dvd of their examine. some places require some certainly footwork, like studying the region for previous incidents, looking into what variety of mineral deposits may be discovered interior reach (issues like limestone can influence paranormal activity), etc. This all is going into the report we provide each house proprietor. On great places, we use walkie talkies, small ones we only flow and confer with a minimum of one yet another. And if it relatively is not too late as quickly as we go away, we in many situations hit an all night Denny's or something and communicate the night.
