I have been working in retail for 11 years and I am looking for a change. I am thinking about going to school to be a hairstylist. I have 2 kids and I can not keep working at a company that requires working nights. I have always wanted to learn how to cut and style hair. My issue is this, I am a very friendly person but I have a lot of trouble starting conversations with people I don't know. A lot of stylists are very perky and talkative. I don't want to be the stylist who just cuts hair but does not develop a relationship (not that kind!) with their clients. Other than cutting hair well that relationship with your client keeps them coming back. Should I go for it? Will I eventually get better at conversation with strangers as time goes by? Has anyone else gone through this? I am so confused....

Oh and what is the average salary for a stylist just starting out in a semi-small town?

I came across one within the past couple of months called USB Paranormal Society (United Skeptics and Believers) Through my research I have learned that the group has about 400 members but I can not find out who these members are. I am only able to find the founder of the group Jonathan Watts. I also learn that this group has supposedly done over 100 investigations but there is nothing about those investigations listed anywhere. There was a USB website but it is now not working for some reason. I am not looking to find out names and addresses of their clients. Just if the cases were local, or if they were residential or in some abandoned building somewhere. I would like to find out how long this group has been operating, who the members are and if the members have any experience in the paranormal field. This is the only paranormal investigative group that I have come across that doesn't give any info on it's members, which seems a little odd to me. How do I know this is a legit group? How do I know if these "investigators" are really legit?

Any info would help.

I was just wondering how many people still dress up for Halloween. I'm 27 and I still do. I can't help it. It's just so fun to be someone you're not!! Of course I don't go trick or treating, I leave that to my kids. Does anyone else still have fun on Halloween? How old are you and what are you dressing up as this year?

OK, my son (7 yrs) has been running a fever of and on from 100 degrees to 104 degrees, coughing (productive) and can't really keep any food down. He throws up most of what he eats. He acts fine, playing around (right now he is beating up daddy) No aches or pains anywhere. He hasn't lost his appetite at all. We took him to the doc and he said "We're gonna treat it as Bronchitis." So he wrote him a prescription for Penicillin. This has been going on for a week now.

I just don't believe that this is Bronchitis. The only symptoms he has are fever and coughing (with mucus.)

PS- I know it's not "just a cold" because when my son gets a cold he just lays around all day. He is still very active.

I want to start homeschooling my son immediately. He is in 1st grade and has ADHD. He refuses to do classwork, misbehaves and bothers other kids during class. I know he can do the work but the problem is he needs one on one instruction. When you work with him he does great. Obviously he can not get this in school because the teacher has to tend to all the students in the class.

My question is what do I do to start homeschooling him? I have read the laws for my state but I am at a stand still. what do I have to do to actually start? Who do I contact and how long does the process take before I can begin? I know there are different programs available but which one is the best? I am just so confused about the whole thing. Someone please help!!

She is kneeling facing to the side and looking downwards to something she is holding in her hands. I have no idea where to put the tattoo. I already have 3 on my back. One lower back, left shoulder blade and below my neck. I can not put it on my right shoulder blade because I have a mole there. Also I want at least one tattoo that I can see without using a mirror. I know the girl (Dorothy) was the daughter of Babe Ruth's mistress Juanita Jennings. And She allowed her daughter to be adopted by Babe and his first wife Helen Woodford. My question is why did this take place? "Juanita" sounds like a ethnic name so I was wondering if the mistress was black. I can not locate a picture of her anywhere. Did Juanita allow her to be adopted to protect her child because she was a mixed baby?

I am trying to prove to my mom that Babe Ruth was white. She says they adopted because he was a "light skinned black man" and his wife was white so it was frowned upon back then for a black man and white woman to have children together. Which doesn't make sense because they would have frowned upon the fact that they were married as well.
