My cell phone was stolen at school! Please help!?
Im in the 5th grade and have a cell phone (emergency and txting to only some friends) But anyway.... Today my phone was stolen out of my coat hall witch was unattended b/c of field trip. So here are my questions:
What should I do to find phone?
What should I do to protect it in the future?
P.S. I know that it is stolen b/c when I call it people are ignoreing my call.
I have to bring it. I need to call my mom when I get on the bus.

My phone was stolen this year! It was taken from my purse.
I called my dad and had his turn it off so no one could use up my minutes or mess with it or access my info.
Then, I worked on getting it back.
In the future, I would keep it with you at all times. I am super paranoid about my phone now. I make sure it's with me at all times. When I wear pants, it's in my pocket. If my bottoms don't have pockets I get a jacket with a pocket and keep it on all day.
You can also put a code lock on your phone so no one can access your info if they get it. Otherwise, the world is filled with messed up people and there is only so much you can do to prevent it from happening.

First of all, you probably will not get it back so you need to tell your mom what happened so she can shut off service to it because whoever took it is probably making lots of phone calls and running up the bill. If and when you get a new phone you should keep it on you at all times (that means in your pocket) or have your mom talk to your teacher or the principal about keeping it locked up somewhere during the day when you shouldn't be on it.

Even though you're allowed to bring cellphones to school (well, at the elementary school here you can), it's a bad idea all around.
If it was stolen, you probably won't get it back. Sorry.

1. tell your parents
2. if stolen, you won't find it
3. contact your service provider and see if they can help (or at least disconnect it)
4. In the future, always keep it on your person

Tell your parents, and do you have lockers? Because that's where I leave mine ( I have to take my phone to school, I walk home), If not, a special place in your backpack.
