Mine is from "Overboard" when Goldie Hawn tells another patient in the mental ward "Shut up and eat your checkers!"

From the movie "Blazing Saddles", when one guy, maybe Mel Brooks himself, starring as the mayor of the old west town, reacts when he realizes the new sheriff is a black man, and he tries to take one of his confidants aside and "alert" him to the fact that this man is a "N", but, instead, accidentally and unbeknownst to himself, puts his arm around the new black sheriff, played by Cleavon Little, and begins saying, "This man's a ni-", broken off in mid-word when he realizes he's not talking to his confidant, rather to the new, black, sheriff himself. If I remember right, in the original version of the movie, made back in 1973, the script has them ALL saying "the n word" in its entirety, but in today's political correctness, the humor is lost in an extremely funny comedy, produced and directed by Mel Brooks. But, that moment when Mel Brooks first says that statement, unknowingly to the new black sheriff himself, is the funniest thing I've seen in decades. God Bless you.

Source(s): I saw that movie on a "first-run" back in 1973, when it was a "screamer" laughing comedy that EVERYONE loved. Then came political correctness.

In "Men in Black" the coroner says, "I hate the living". There is something about that line that seriously cracks me up.
