I would send the pics to my e-mail on the old computer, than go to my e-mail on the new computer and retrieve the pics and just save them to the desktop...or something like that...

buy a USB drive, preferably one with a larger memory and copy the files from the old computer to the new one and when youre done just delete the files from the USB.

p.s make sure you dont transfer any viurus

Depending on how many files you have, burnt them to a cd-r (about a dollar/fifty cents), buy a 2 gb flash drive (pretty cheap?/10bucks?) or an external hard drive and drag and drop all of them to the flash drive and do the reverse to the new hard drive. If you have a million photos this is the easiest way.

Beg, borrow or steal a memory stick (they are dead cheap to buy) stick it into a USB socket on your pc, open it and drag the pictures, albums or whatever in to it. Then emove the stick and plug it into the new pc open it, and drag the files into whatever folder you want. Easy-peasy!

I transferred some awhile back using my phone. Also use a memory card and card reader to do it.
