Are they really "Madoff victims?"?
Anyone else getting annoyed by this term? Shouldn't it be "victims of their own greed?"
Sure, he was a scam artist, but aren't his "victims" just as guilty for never questioning where the money was coming from? Wasn't it their own greed that enabled him to run his scam for so long?
It lasted for so many years because no one cared how he was doing it, they were just happy to see some big numbers on a piece of paper.

tell that to the charities that were investing money so they would have more money to help out starving children around the world
