New Kitchenaid Stand Mixer Smells?

I just got a brand new replacement for my kitchenaid mixer that was stalling. I took this one out of the box and it's louder than my other mixer and smells like a auto body car shop.. really strong oil smell. Did anyone have this smell with their NEW mixer?...

    return it, they shouldn't smell like that. it might have been re-worked.

    I think it is smoking. Take it back and get it inspected
