"I'm married but we are getting divorced"... why do men expect women to believe them!?

Because some women will believe anything.

And sometimes, no matter how smart we are ... we still choose to be naive when we want something so badly.

Personally i choose to be cynical and not believe any man that tells me such rubbish. I'll need some eye to eye contact and solid proof before i believe the "oh we're calling it quits so ..." lines. LOL *thinks* hmmm, maybe i'll talk to "her" to see if he's telling the truth. LOL ;P

those lines are the typical lines that a MARRIED man will give. They want women to think they are "about to leave", when in most cases, they aren't going anywhere. Of course, there are those times when it is true and the marriages are on the breaking point. However, I feel that even those men should wait until they resolve their marital woes first before involving another woman into the picture. =).

I am not defending the guy here at all now. OK?? Sometimes women just fall for it. They think with their heart, and guys think, well, you know. If a guy can do it and get by with it, then it isnt totally his fault. He is partially at fault,but not the whole blame. Guys just want to have their cake and eat it too i guess. There are alot of naive women that will believe a man just to have that special something that they think they will get. I guess i wont say those things to you... LOL!!!! JK! I will have to use another tactic. Muhahahahahahahha!

I don't think these mean really care if they believe it or not, just if they play along, fine. If not, they'll tell this to someone else until they find a woman who will go along.

Because there are some women that will believe them.....dumb huh?
