1st round: VCU could win one against UCLA (who's travelling to the East to play), Minnesota could beat Texas without much suprise. Akron could win one. (Gonzaga)Maryland could beat California.
USC could potentially go deep, and so could Missouri. (Mizzou is in an easy segment, UCONN is the weakest 1, Memphis is not a powerful 2 this year)

First of all let me just say that Arizona has no business even being in this year’s tournament with the likes of Davidson and Kentucky sitting at home (selection committee really screwed over that one) they finished 19 and 12 and have lost 5 of their last 6 games so defiantly look for an early exit in the first round vs. Utah. But my personal first round upsets are as followed:
- Mississippi St. Over Washington
- Dayton Over West Virginia (If West Virginia 3s are not falling then it’s all over, Dayton has an impressive inside game and a lot of athletic players who can defend and will Bang all over WVA in this game and FYI Dayton has been holding teams to an average of 60 points a game this season)
- I don’t have any upsets in the east division, but if there is an upset it will either be Wisconsin over Florida St. or VCU over UCLA.
- In the South I have Western Ky. Beating Illinois(Western Kentucky’s A.J. Slaughter & Orlando Mendez-Valdez. 15.8 points a game and 14.0 points a game will be to much for the Illinois front line to handle and also WKU is 24-8 on the season and enters the NCAA Tournament riding a season-best seven-game winning streak.
- Those are all my first round upsets
Hope it helps man

My upset would be Siena over Ohio State. USC over Boston College, and Maryland over California. The last 2 arent really upsets. Also Arizona over Utah. Oh ya and look out for Western Kentucky vs. Illinois.

well i would look at some inconsistent teams. one of them is michigan state. there pretty young i could definitely see them losing in the second round to usc or boston college. also utah doesn't get a lot of attention or a lot of nationally televised game, but arizona is in a strong pac-10 and experienced so i have 5th seeded utah falling to the 12th seeded arizona. and last syracuse is the 3rd seed in the south region and with there great play in the big east tourney, they have the kind of team to take on 1 seeds and win a championship, i have them winning it all in my bracket. i wouldn't choose any #1 seeds losing until the elite eight either.

11 Utah State over #6 Marquette! Marquette has lost their star point guard and lost 5 of their last 6 games. Utah st. has the 2nd best record in the league and will have more fans at the game since the game is in Boise.

Western Kentucky over Illinois.

Western Kentucky is extremely risky they beat Louisville earlier interior the year by way of 15 and play a banged up Illinois team and interior the 2d around seem to play Gonzaga interior the 2d around and that i think of Gonzagas hyped up and in no way do nicely interior the journey inspite of their huge-unfold season success, so this years vast disillusioned i'm taking W. Kentucky
