What coating for a soapstone sculpture?
I have finished off a couple of sculptures, made from soapstone I quarried myself in Wake County, North Carolina. They are sanded smooth now. I would like to coat them for a finished sheen, but have no idea what would be best. I can experiment, probably will. But I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this stuff before I waste my time and trash a nice piece of work.

I would just use floor polish wax. If you want a particular hard wax use bowling alley floor wax.
