Does Pres. Obama hate Veterans enough to make them pay for services rendered at the VA hospitals?

Veterans already pay out of pocket when they use VA hospitals. My husband is on disability and they take a portion of his check for his drugs. VA won't accept medicare for services, go figure.

You are misguided. He isn't going to make veterans pay for health treatment - he is going to make their insurance companies pay, if they have insurance. If they don't have insurance, the government pays.

I thought liberals didn't want the government to pay for healthcare. Why don't you love this plan?

EDIT: Regarding copays and deductables: I cannot comment since I don't know what the plan calls for. I would be in favor of the government paying for any out of pocket expenses.

BTW, the article says the American Legion is in favor of Medicare reimbursing the VA instead of private health insurance. That is incredibly stupid. It won't recoup any money because the government pays for medicare, too!
