I picked up a bunch of pine cones over Thanksgiving holiday to use for decor and crafts. I know that when they have been "baked" they are fine for a long time... but I am just now getting to it. Are they too old to bake and use? Or should they be fine to use still?

I made a pumpkin cookie off of allrecipes.com, they are kind of like a little miniature cake. Anyway, I let them cool for a couple of hours (after I had put the icing on them per the recipe) and put them in my cookie jar... now they are all soggy (still taste good though). What happened? How (if possible) can I remedy this? And what should I do in the future to keep it from happening again?

Any tips or help would be much appreciated. I would hate to waste such good cookies for a rookie mistake. :D

I just want to be able to make changes to one or the other and it show up on both. I'm pretty sure it does it already with notepad, but I didn't change anything to make this happen.

A little background of where I'm coming from:

I have always had infrequent menstrual cycles, until I started taking birth control. So when I stopped taking birth control and after my last birth control induced period (which happened in late May), I didn't recieve another period. Well the first cycle after getting off birth control and not having a period, I took a pregnancy test (twice, one after a few days of the first) and it said I was not pregnant both times. So I didn't really think twice about knowing my cycle history. The last two weeks I wasn't feeling well and decided to take another pregnancy test and this morning it said I was pregnant.

I am trying to caulk around the trim in our bedroom to get it ready for paint. But I'm having a hard time figuring out how to caulk in this small space where I can't see nor can I fit the caulking gun. It's slightly less than an inch wide and where the door is close to the adjacent wall.

Any tips and pointers will be welcome...

I am trying to find some good (yet healthy) meals that will help comfort my household while illness is passing through. I know Chicken Noodle Soup is a staple, but I know that even sick people don't want to eat the same thing everyday. I am also trying to find things that are make ahead in case I get sick as well. Any help and ideas will be appreciated.

I am making chicken enchilada's and it calls for 1 tsp of dried coriander, but I don't have any and didn't realize I needed any.

I have damaged my skin a bit by being out in the sun and I want to protect my skin as much as possible. I was thinking the Aveeno lotion would be good, but I don't know.

In light of me being a Sims fan and most of the Sims 2 expansions being plagued with SecuROM my husband has decided to build a CPU that is specifically for video games, that will not be connected to the internet or very seldom connected to the internet. What will SecuROM do, if anything, if not connected to the internet?

Preferably low cal and low fat (but the low fat is more important, as I am on a low fat diet per my doctors instruction... must lower that cholesterol). And relatively quick and filling as I am almost always eating on the run.

I have pretty much exhausted myself of any combination of oats/granola, yogurt and fruit... I am trying to only consume 1300-1500 calories a day as I am 40 pounds overweight.

So any ideas would be great.

I know what a Neo Conservative is and I know what a Classical Conservative is. I know some of the other lesser known Conservatism too... but what is an Ultra conservative? Is it like an Ultra Liberal?

How can someone be an Ultra Conservative or an Ultra Liberal?

If anyone can tell me in mL that would be great... My doctor prescribed it for me but I want to know approximately how long it will last because of the cost and there are no cheaper versions of it.

My husband is allergic to the preservatives in onion, so he can't eat anything that has onion in it (unless I grow them myself) and there is a nifty recipe on making single serving meat loaf in the microwave in a coffee mug or a baking dish around that size... Does anyone have any ideas what I could use instead of onion soup mix that will not hinder the cookability of the dish nor the taste?
