Tattoo idea, would like some input?

Sounds very cool. I think you should do an old English type text and have it run up and down from your wrist to your elbow on the outside of your arm. Not a smaller tattoo on your the inside of your arm! Metal is in your face, loud, mad and lets you know its there in a big way! So why pick a small area for such a big concept?

If you have to smaller then another idea that i like is to get your favorite metal band's album and copy the bar code and under it have "metal" like you were mass produced or something.

I think you might regret it when your older. But if you really wanna do something representing music do something a little more low key. Ask your tattoo artist they are great at helping come up with ideas. If your friends are telling you your stupid they may be just looking out for you and dont want you to get something you will hate later.

Sounds kind of weird, especially looking at it from the outside. Imagine if you saw someone with "blues" or "jazz" or "country" tattooed on their wrist. Wouldn't you think it was a bit of an odd choice?

i love tattoos in the place you said or on the lower back. i think quotes look really good a tattoos, like something that means a lot to you written in hebrew or latin.
