Are there different versions of the xbox 360 power supply?
I let a friend borrow my xbox and power cable for a big halo3 tournament. I got them back but I can't get the power supply to plug back into the xbox. are there different versions of power-supply?
rather than make my friend buy me a new one, if you answer my question, I can have him give me mine back.

There are THREE different kinds, four i think.
203w came out first, compatible with all 360s. Silver Tip
175w released later. compatible with all 360s below. Grey tip
150w released recently. I haven't seen one yet.
I think a 125w is coming out soon, I dunno though.
He probably gave you a 175w, get your 203w back!

Check the serial numbers see if they match up.
Instead of accusing him go to him in a nice way and say hey man when i got the power cable back it wouldnt go into my xbox, I dunno for sure but can you bring yours over and see if it plugs into mine..There may have been a mix up. If that doesnt work just look on ebay and see how much a power cable is...shouldnt be too much money...I personally just wouldnt make a big deal about it....
Let him know what happend if he wants to help you out he will...If not take it as a lesson learned and dont let people borrow stuff.
