Crazy??? I was talking to the guy I date the other night and he said I will talk to you later bye, so I replied bye and I hung up. Then my sister in law called so I was talking to her and the guy then called my sons phone and wanted to talk to me - He was mad because I hung up??? What was I suppose to do?
Love some of the answers so far, I should also add I did tell him who I was talking too then he wanted to know what we were talking about! I should also say he is 40 not a young boy!

No no one, or maybe one guy, that I know is actually that weird. But all other guys are pretty normal, to anyone else I know that would have just been a good bye and like called you later on or next day or something, I guess he was either trying to be funny or he is just a weirdo!

Haha. I am not a guy.. but I'm thinking he didn't really want you to go... he might have wanted you to do the whole "no you hang up" thing. Which, after high school is pretty ridiculous. Just tell him that you were talking to someone, ask him what his problem is.

Maybe there was a mistake somewhere in the conversation that was misunderstood. ..just work it out with him. I am sure it will be okay...and if he really said that statement that you mentioned...and you hung up because he said bye...then no...all men are not like that.....maybe he just wanted something to complain about...

you did the right things to hang up because he say that he'll call you later and you were right to talk to your sister in law.the reason your boyfriends get mad he think that you were talking to other man and that's why you hang up the phone on him.tell him your talking to your sister in law.

um.its obvious that you called me before and you told me to hangup!!!!
you could say other things too but if he really takes that personally you might just have to brake up or tell him what really happened

You probably heard wrong. Maybe he meant "I will talk to you later about it" instead of "I will talk to you later bye!"

You did the right thing, he may be used to immature women or girls that take along time to actually hang up. Its his problem not yours.
