Can anybody tell me whats the prob with my laptop screen?

Hi I have an Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop but when its not on charge the screen goes really dark and I cant see the words on the screen v.well.

I'm not really pc minded but have had a look in the control panel to see if I can adjust the brightness but I cant find that!!!

Any help would be wonderful because I cant keep it on charge any time I want to use it.

    You can increase the brightness by pressing "Fn" button and "Right" arrow. Hold [Fn] and click [<-] or [->] for adjusting.

    Most laptops have a function button and one of these functions will be brightness.

    On mine, it's a key marked "fn" in blue with a blue up arrow for the brightness. Hold down the function key and keep pressing the screen brightness until it's at a good level for you.

    Yeah you need to turn your Brightness up.

    press " fn " and then your left arrow key if it is marked with a sun and an up arrow.

    You need to change your power options...you power option settings just now tells your PC to make the battery last longer when the charger is unplugged ....to change your power setting right click on the battery icon on your task bar ( bottom right of screen) and click on 'power options...or go to control panel

    go into control panel on the start menu then apperance or somthing like that
