Survey: Have you ever accidentally sent an email you meant to delete instead?

Yes.. I have had moments were I was complaining about someone and sent it to the person I was complaining about instead!

Nope, but I do fear doing something like that if it is something that I wrote when I was angry at someone and decided that it was stupid. I try and keep my drafts deleted that I am not going to send.

I haven't done that...yet. Once at work I made a disparaging remark about a suit on mahogany row (where the CEO, CCO, CFO and all the other *HMFICs ) do business in their luxurious offices and accidentally added the suit's name to the list of the others I did mean to send it to. Thankfully he had his secretary screen his emails and she sent it back to me without him ever seeing it.

OH ya! I sent and e-mail to a guy that liked me and I liked him to him when it was supposed to go to my friends, which the e-mail also talked about my boyfriend... I felt sooooooo horrible. luckly the guy didn't care and was ok w/ it and we still chat. He lives in Germany and I live in Chicago.

sort of, i accidental sent an email to y/a customer care, it was kinda racy, rather embarrassing ,lol

Nope I just fire and forget and then have to apologize later...

I have ,but it was not that big of a deal; so I did not care so much.
