A liar, a cheat or just stupid?

Chris Dodd is the Senator from Connecticut where AIG is headquartered.

Chris Dodd and Barack Obama (as a senator) were the two top beneficiaries of political donations from AIG.

Chris Dodd personally wrote and inserted a specifically worded amendment into the stimulus bill that provides AIG an "'exception for contractually obligated bonuses agreed on before Feb. 11, 2009."

This exempts the very AIG bonuses Dodd and others are seeking to tax! Are we to believe that this was an arbitrary date he chose by throwing darts at a calendar? Or is it more likely that AIG instructed him accordingly?

Obama signed the bill into law.

Are we to believe that he signed this bill without reading it or without being aware of its contents? One would think that very specific language regarding AIG's use of the funds would have been included and that Obama would have reviewed this language. But rather, he would have us believe that he was kept in the dark.

NOW Obama is shocked, horrified and outraged that AIG intends to use government money to pay out bonuses. Obama is going to get to the bottom of this! He won't stand for it! He's going to put his foot down on this one, oh yes he is!

So, is Obama a liar, a cheat or just plain stupid? All three? Or does he think the American people are that stupid? Which is it?

Update:

For those of you in denial, details of the bill may be found in the Federal Register. You can access the FedReg at the public library, or through LexisNexis if you are a subscriber.

Details of AIG's political contributions are public and were published in full prior to the last presidential election.

Obama's "who me?" act, his outrage and his promise to "block" the bonuses have all been detailed extensively by all the media outlets.

This entire outrage of execs getting bonuses is a diversion. I never thought that I would cite the socialist Noam Chomsky but he has this down pat. In his book "Media Control The spectacular Achievements of Propaganda", we are the bewildered herd. We have to be distracted, frightened into taking action against an idea. This feigned public outrage is a distraction by Obama and his minions to deflect the underlying problem of the amount of money Obama has spent is two months, the socialistic agenda Obama wants to implement. It is a diversion to get us, the bewildered herd, in an uproar to distract us.

Again, I never thought I would agree with Chomsky in a million years but reading this book, Obama followed his suggestions to a tee to get elected and to get these massive bills through congress.

Neither, it is called denial...I guess I should say DENIAL since you think it should be capitalized. Wives do not want to believe that their husbands cheat on them. Just like parents don't want to believe that their children are doing bad things. I agree with your statement that the white house is no place for the stupid or liars. That is why I can't understand how anyone would support Bush any more......I don't know how stupid he is, but it is proven that he is a liar.

He thinks we are stupid. They should get their bonuses. I don't like it but they did nothing wrong. They signed a contract and it should be honored. I am out raged. Congress is attacking Libby when it is their fault. They set this up. The employees did their job and should get paid per the contracts. Aig should have never made the deal, but it was done and we gave (not by choice) the money to use as they knew best to keep this company up and running. They are doing just that. This attack on Libby is ignorant. He wasn't there when the contracts were drawn up. Now he is obligated by law and by integerity to honor these contract. Obama is full of sh!t.

All three. His reaction to and comments about AIG are only to further his quest to end contract law in the U.S. which will expand the bounds of his dictatorship.

Barack Obama is a liar, a cheat, and he thinks that the American people are stupid. He has deluded himself into thinking that he is an object of worship and that he is the giant "cure all" for everything.

All I can say is that we get the very leaders that we deserve.

Obama (Osama) is a lying, big government loving, tax cheat sheltering, leftist liberal. He has already ruined this country and in his first 50 days spent more then Bush did in his entire term!!! That is something the liberal media hasn't told you. He wants to shut Rush and Hannity down, take away our right to protect ourselves and make the middle class and up pay for the rights of drug dealers and those that only rely on welfare. I wish we had Bush back!!!

Chris Dodd admitted his role and that he was the man who wrote the language. Therefore he should be fired.

Why would Obama call out AIG to give bonuses back? That would be like Bush stepping in when gas prices were 4.00, he wouldn't do it!

BO is a crooked Chicago politician, which means he is a liar and a cheat. He's not stupid but he thinks we are.

I wouldn’t give Obama or Dodd that out, in saying they’re stupid, but I will hold them accountable to being corrupt, deceptive, and a liar.
