How do you feel about this?

I just read a story from the AP, that the Philipino women who accused a Marine of raping her back in 2006, says that it now was consensual. That she may have made him believe that she wanted it to. Oh, she also has fled her country and is living here in the states. All the meanwhile, a Marine is serving 40 years, in the Philipines, for a crime that it now looks like he didnt do. He is waiting for an appeal of his case. They say she might be brought up on perjury. Great, but what about the guy whos life is screwed and the problems that it cause between the U. S. and the Philipines?

I admit it does anger me some. However, this could have all been avoided if this young man had not put himself into that position. I'm not blaming him at all, especially if he is truly innocent. American Soldiers should be the Standard in which everyone else is judged. I wasn't an angel myself, some people will target our soldiers just because they hate America.

Well too bad, blame the women, you can't bring back the future.

Honestly, it doesn't surprise me at all that she was a lying *****.
