Question #2 "is it worse to actually go out and marry another guy?"

Sin is sin, having a gay relationship is the same as being married to a person of the same sex.

Question #3 (implied) Well since Jesus died and we are forgiven of our sins does this mean that we can keep on sinning?

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

If your friend disagrees with biblical teaching I fail to understand why he claims to be a "Christian" what are Christians if not those who follow the Bible?

#4 aside -- To those who claim 1.) people are born gay.

Can you prove this? The last time I checked there is not a "gay gene" at best it is a condition of the mind and at worst it is a willful choice.

2.) Those who claim any kind of love is good.

What makes love "good" in the first place? If two men can be in a relationship, why not a daughter and a father? a mother and a son? a brother and a sister? two brothers? two sisters? why not 3, 4 or 5 people? love is love right? -- point is you have no basis for a moral statement that gay love is good other than your own personal ideas which is completely subjective and not steadfast.

When we are forgiven we are to go and sin no more, not keep sinning.

God said it is sin for men to lie with men it is an abomination it is in the Law and in the New Testament.

The stupid argument homosexuals use that Jesus never mentioned homosexuality doesn't work

since Jesus never mentioned molesting children or having sex with animals either.

Homosexuality is a sin and if he does it it is his soul that will be lost.

God meant what he said and nothing can change it.

The Bible will stand as it has when all other books have failed.

In Leviticus it says not to have sex with a person of the same sex, but it also says that eating pigs is a sin b/c pigs don't eat grass so they are unclean. We eat pigs today because Jesus died for us. So I don't see what woud be wrong with marrying another person of the samne sex. If the Old Testement tells us not to eat pigs, but we do whats wrong with getting married w/ same sex partners?

Tell your friend, if he really wants to know he should start reading up on the Theology of the Body by, Pope John Paul II. It is very good and will help him decide. God's peace=)

Who cares?

We still haven't found a way to get along without war. Parts of the world are without safe water. Half the population of earth has to live on less than $2 a day. Millions of children go to bed hungry every night. Species are disappearing at the fastest rate since the disappearing of the dinosaurs...

And this is what has people worried?

I say if they're happy together, good for them.

They are both sin. The sin debt has been paid by Christ on the cross, but that does not mean that we are to just go on committing sin. If we could do that then Jesus would't have told has to confess our sins. It is when we confess our sins that he forgives us. The reason that he tells us to confess them is cause he knew that even tho he died for them that we were still going to sin. God did not pay the sin debt so that we could just continue to sin, he at least expects us to sin less.

Jesus taught love. The "NO MAN ON MAN" crap is an Old Testament law and anyone who references it shouldn't eat bacon, cheese on their burgers and never shave the sides of their faces either.

Jesus said to love everyone.

Even gheys.

Him marrying some other guy won't effect you in any way at all.

If you believe that your all-loving god will let him rot in hell, let him.

Everyone has freewill right?

No It is wrong to do anything homosexual, dating or marriage. If you do something bad just because you know you will be forgiven, your sins wil NOT be forgiven. God has never ending forgiveness but you have to repent first which means saying you're sorry and you will try not to do it again.
