people with no legit complaints and way too much time on their hands.

the right wingers always get mad when obama speaks directly to the nation in any way - they can't spin and filter it.

With the state this country is in, I'm sure people feel he should be doing more than taking time out to appear on Leno - but I believe he's going on Leno for a reason - I'm certain he will discuss certain items of importance, I'm certain he'll get a few laughs, but his appearance on Leno will reach a wide audience of people.

By the way, I watched him at his Town Hall meeting in Costa Mesa, CA last night - he's certainly not looking as chipper as he did on January 20th at his inauguration!

Unfortunately, with alll the changes he wants to make so quickly, he's falling all over himself.

  • Obama is trying to play to the populist crowd by going on an entertainment show like Leno's.

He is trying to appear like he is an average Joe by going on shows like Leno and making Final Four picks.

He is trying to fool people by saying since he is an average Joe which means his policies are to benefit the average Joe in order to get a populist swell to back him.

It's just a ploy. Anybody with a brain should be able to spot it.

Mike Krzyzewski was right - he should focus on the economy rather than making basketball picks. And other such nonsense to try and create support by deception.

i do no longer think of the gaffe on the Leno coach will help us win in 2012. i think of the numerous different issues he has already executed and could do would be what ultimately takes him down. His cool ingredient will positioned on off like Tara Reid and it is going to be OVER.

I don't know why they are griping. I'm not sure why some are wasting their outrage on this appearance.

kwf... is the typical gripe. Pretending that by appearing on Leno the president is somehow neglecting his duties.

I want a celebrity in charge of my county not a president.-.. wait reverse that. I want a president, not a celebrity.

Maybe he should be less worrisome over paparizzi and more worried about making policies that work.

What uproar? The new president has his own style and is free to do what he pleases. We only have one president at a time.

considering how much it costs to fly air force one everyone should be outraged that he is spending money foolishly to make an appearance on a TV show instead of doing his job

    His charm tour is ill-timed.

But then, he is using it as a smokescreen, so maybe not.

Can't wait to hear what his teleprompter says.

    No uproar.

Simply shows the lack of class he has.

    Nothing surprising.
