Is it possible to hurt yourself eating food?

Up until 1:00pm felt just fine. Around 1:00 pm I ate a rock solid pear, and then experienced a dull yet sharp pain in an certain area of my stomach for seconds lapse. Here's the strange part ... It only hurts after I swallow food . I can drink fluid without feeling this discomfort so I was wondering ....Is it possible to hurt yourself eating bulky food?

I experienced this discomfort immediately after eating the pear, believe me...it's not a lingering pain that's gotten worse, it was like a light switch was turned on ... PANG!

It was probably just the pear, it will go away soon. I had that once and I got the WORST stomache aches I have ever had, it lasted for only a few days. But if it last a few weeks, go to the docter.

it sounds kinda like when you dont chew it enough and it hits the bottom of your stomach really hard. that hurts so bad. but i dont know for sure. it probably will go away within the day. if not, i would wait a day or so before seeing a doctor.
