unnecessary things you do regularly but you still do it?

ever wonder of the things that you do regularly that when you think of it closely, something in it tells that it is useless or you can continue living even when you don't do it?

yeah i do OCD type things...but i havent been diagnosed with it. for example...i keep my cell phone in the exact same spot every night, facing the same way. i do that with my remote controls too. and each night i erase the call history and text messages on my cell...while erasing the call log, voicemail indicator, and recently dialed numbers on the house phone.

i lay my clothes out on the left side of my dresser....my shoes face the bed, but my slippers face away. haha.

idk...maybe im just a neat freak and like EVERYTHING clean...but i know there are so many habits i have that are not necessary.
