is iexp 7 or 8 compitble with window xp sp2 or should I keep ver 6 ?

all ie are compatible with xp any service pack. install the latest one

Internet Explorer 7 and 8 are compatiable with xp service pack 2 or sp2, however you should either already be on or update to service pack 3 (SP3) for xp. I use IE 8, and while it takes a little getting used to because certain things are in different places, the security and speed of the broswer is much more effective. I would upgrade to 8. The worst thing that could happen is that you will not like 8 and in that case simply uninstall 8 and install 7. Good Luck.

i have IE6 b4 with windows xp..i updated mine to IE7 and there is nothing wrong with my computer! i ask the same question b4 on updating to IE8 but some of my answerer tells me that theres a problem with it so im still using IE7 right now!!
