Why didn't Obama answer Jay Leno question?

Well, here's something that kind of scared me. Today they passed this thing that says we're going to tax 90 percent of these bonuses. And the part that scares me is, I mean, you're a good guy –- if the government decides they don't like a guy, all of a sudden, hey, we’re going to tax you and then, boom, and it passes. I mean, that seems a little scary as a taxpayer, they can just decide –- you want to take a break and answer that when we come back? Okay, hold that answer.

MR. OBAMA: I will. I've got a good answer, too. (Applause.)

MR. LENO: Welcome back. We are talking with President Barack Obama.

Before the break I mentioned that they had just passed this new bill which will tax them 90 percent -- and I said it was frightening to me as an American that Congress, whoever, could decide, I don't like that group, let's pass a law and tax them at 90 percent.

How could he possibly give a decent answer to the question,there isn't a decent answer.This action by Congress goes against almost everything America stands for.So much for the integrity of Contracts,they killed that with one vote.So much for equal treatment of all citizens,the Congress has decided that if they don't like you they will come after you specifically.So much for not changing the rules after the fact,these contracts were made long before this new Tax,and were exempted originally because Tim Geithner and Senator Dodd wanted them exempted(Even if only for Legal reasons)

He seems to support a mob rule mentality in Congress, instead of supporting the constitutional law.  Very hypocritical for a constitutional law professor.  The public is outraged, so Congress just wants to jump on the bandwagon.  Any wagers he will sign the bill if it passes Congress?  I wager he will, despite how wrong and unconstitutional it is.

The response doesn't account for the fact that the Treasury Sec. told dodd to put in the provision honoring previously sanctioned employment contracts, eg bonuses.  Obama can not answer questions truthfully simply because he is incapable of truth.

When has he ever directly addressed a question?  He dances around it like is feet are on fire !  What kills me is him saying that there is a moral and ethical aspect of this, he is the man who put a bunch of tax evaders into his cabinet !  Moral and ethical, do you really think he has a clue what those words mean !
