You're making the same mistake most rational, thinking people make in that you do not think as they think. For example, when Obama said he would cut wasteful spending, rational people thought "Great! He's going to be fiscally responsible and cut wasteful spending." What they didn't think or know was Obama's leftist definition of wasteful spending. Obama has yet to see anything he would consider 'wasteful spending'. Pelosi is much the same way. It is all how you define words like 'ethics' and 'is'.
