What is the cost per person per mile in air travel for fuel?

Is it considered a green form of travel? or is it the most polluting form of travel? Why hasn't any emission standards been implemented on the aircraft industry? How much of the green house gasses are caused by aircraft.

The rule of thumb is that one third of the cost of operating an airliner is the fuel cost. So if your ticket cost $300 you probably used $100 worth of fuel.

Air travel is not more or less polluting than cars or ships. It is just faster. Of course it depends on the type of plane and how full it is. A modern airliner with a full load of passengers is pretty fuel efficient in terms of miles per gallon per passenger.
