5th space experiment ideas?

my daughter in 5th grade & is writing an essay and needs some simple ideas on experiments she can do in space. these would have to be ideas a 5th grader would be able to understand so she can formulate her own response to what she would want to do. thanks

Update:

she is writing the essay to try to win a scholarship to a week long space camp.

A very simple experiment would be to examine a sealed jar half full of water. Will the water form a globule in the middle of the jar or will it cling to the sides leaving a bubble in the middle?

A more complex experiment might involve growing plants. Set up a spinning drum and place seedlings against the inner surface. The drum spins fast enough to provide 1 gravity for the plants. Next set aside identical seedlings and let them grow in microgravity. Which grows better? How will the plants differ in appearance?

Are you talking about real science in space (e.g. does the winner get to send something up to orbit), or is it just a way of understanding the properties of space?
