Two 100 foot Cat6 cables with coupler - any signal loss?

I need to network a shack to my house, and its 150 feet away. If I ran the cable underground (with proper insulation and protection, of course), would two 100 foot Cat6 cables with a coupler in between do the trick? Or is that too long, and would it lose quality?

300' is the length limit on CAT6. You should be fine. Your signal loss will be very minimal. The primary thing is going to be your insulation/protection and how far below the ground you go. If you are going to cross any area that a vehicle would be going over on a regular basis, you need to go 3 or more feet down. If its just foot traffic or the occasional vehicle over the area, then 2 foot is recommended. I would also use a PVC conduit instead of a traditional metal conduit.
