Why do Democrats and Republicans always have to point fingers ?

Everyone wants to demonize the opposing party and its' leadership.Do people not realize that ALL politicians, regardless of party affiliation, work only to better themselves, and their big-money donors and friends ? The Bush Administration got us into this mess, and now the Obama Adminstration is compounding the problem by borrowing money we have no hope of ever paying back. Now that's what I call bi-partisanship......

It's all a smokescreen to keep the anger of the common people divided rather than directed at the privileged class that all politicians belong to.

you have many fake stereotypes approximately republicans. Rep's choose tax breaks for each guy or woman and an basic actuality that reps donate extra funds to charity than dems via a procedures. so a procedures as working mutually, Obama and the dems are those that may not budge. they're going to enable the bush era tax cuts expire on a million/a million and taxes go up on anyone in the previous Obama will strike a deal.....it is coming from a former a procedures left liberal. do no longer pay attention to msnbc, do no longer even pay attention to fox. Do the autonomous analyze and you will see as I surely have

This is what you will get when you compete to come up with the best policy.

Their job is to keep everyone in check (no slackers allowed). This is how the system was designed: the court, the law makers, and the president. It is becoming even more that these three branches want to merge. Moving through legislation with light speed - print today and sign it tomorrow. This kind of behavior will destroy this nation.

Unless you are just 10 years old, you need to look at history, they have been pointing fingers for our entire history. Trying to limit the blame to Bush is just as lacking in knowledge of the real world as saying That WW2 was started by Eskimos invading Brazil. This country has survived in spite of the incompetent idiots we elect into office. We do that by speaking out and letting them know we don't like it. Instead of ranting here, contact the idiots from you state in the house and senate and tell them you don't like it. That is how we as educated voters should start holding these idiots accountable. It starts with one person and grows from their. You don't like it, tell the ones that write it, not this open forum..

I don't know. I'm very moderate, and wish for the whole nation to see things in gray, not just black and white. Stop pointing fingers, and start working together. Stop doing what's right for your party or your image and start doing what's right for the American's you serve! Because, when it gets down to it, Repubs and Dems both want prosperity for our country first and foremost...

Source(s): Vote 3rd Party I'm an American dammit! Not a Democrat, not a Republican, an AMERICAN!

I think you'll see a fusion of progressive libertarian and conservative over time.

I'm mostly progressive, but I do understand some of the conservatives views about welfare. I think welfare sucks. It's not helping people.

We should do everything we can to solve problems and not create them like welfare does.

So true! I think both parties have become so many ignorant unintelligable filth. We really need a multiple party system.

Yeah, all those finger pointers suck. We should point them out and blame them for pointing out and blaming others. You make a valid point but the lack of self-awareness is amusing.

Yeah I agree they should not point fingers, they should use laser pointers, or sticks.
