America's Next Top Model?

You've obviously never heard of Devon Aoki. She has walked down runways and graced the cover of Vogue at only 5 feet 5 inches! In fact, she replaced Naomie Campbell as the new face of Versace. If they choose the right winner for this season, she will obviously have more publicity. Can you imagine how many people are going to be watching this cycle? Also, she will be unique and stand out in the industry because of her height, and if she has the "it" quality that they are looking for, she may find a lot of success. Look at Eva Longoria for Bebe and Vanessa Paradis for Chanel. There are exceptions in the fashion industry, and if the top model casting team chooses correctly and actually finds a different girl with true potential, she might just hit the jackpot. It all depends on who is out there.

I stopped watching after cycle 8 - I have seen clips of the last 3 seasons since but the show has totally lost something. I don't know if Tyra is too focused on her talk show now or what, but the magic is definitely gone. All the current girls look like clones of past season girls - and Tyra doesn't seem enough involved anymore. I hope the show ends after this cycle.

I love ANTM, they are trying to break the mold by having shorter girls. Maybe they will do more commercial work than high fashion because they are short. I love that a plus sized girl won a few cycles ago!

i still like the show too, but it's definetely gone downhill. it's almost cheesy now, and gimmicky - hence the 5"7 or under cycle
