Best Misheard Lyric from any decade?

In the song All Apologies at about the 1:30 mark, everyone thinks Kurt was saying "aqua seafoam shame", but he's actually saying "opposee (opposite) from shame". I heard the unplugged version on the radio and there is no way he was saying "aqua seafoam shame". Also, another Nirvana song that seems to get the lyrics screwed up a lot of Sliver. In the demo version you can clearly hear Kurt saying "I killed my toe", but the version that ended up being released sounds like he's saying "I killed my toad". In the song Bennie and the Jets I always thought he was saying "she's got electric moves", but he's actually saying "she's electric boots".

Pearl's A Singer by Elkie Brooks. The real lyrics are:

"Pearl's a singer, she stands up when she plays the piano in a nightclub". I though she was singing "....when she plays the piano in her nightclothes".

And the person who mentioned Hot Chocolate's "You sexy thing" - where he sings "I believe in miracles, where you from?" I thought he was singing "I believe in miracles, wear your bra"!!

I believe I heard on the news that Brandon Flowers spent ages coming up with that lyric and no-one seems to pick it up correctly.
