Ipod Classic 80gb Problem. Won't hold more than 1.12gb of music. What to do?

I got my Ipod Classic (80gb) a little more than 2 years ago, so I'm sure it's not under warranty anymore. The problem with my Ipod is that it won't hold more than 1.12gb of music. Every time I try to go beyond that limit, Itunes and RealPlayer would freeze during the synchronize process.

I remember playing around with the games folder in the Ipod via My Computer. I think I deleted some files? Maybe I even deleted the whole folder as I can't access that part through my Ipod any more. Ever since then I couldn't put more than 1.12gb of music.

Is there a place I could possibly go to restore EVERY folder and file for my ipod? (Restoring and Reseting does not bring back the Games folder nor does it fix the limit)

Update:

After the freeze, my ipod will delete all the music that was on it previously.

And again, restoring and reseting DOES NOT fix the problem.

Update 2:

I do use Itunes...

Update 3:

I did restore...many times...Please read the descriptions...

Update 4:

I've tried I Know's way. Still doesn't work.

OK if you messed around with any folder inside your Ipod meaning on your Ipod's hardrive then your out of luck, My suggestion would be to talk to an apple representative tell them about your problem, hide the fact that you touched anything on that folder, because if you tell them that then basically what they will tell you is that they cannot help you or replace your product. Try to convince them to replace the product because it started malfunctioning for no reason.

From my personal experience i would go with the IPod Classic because the Zune had charging prblems with my friend and i cant take frozen songs off of my Zune and it is way more bulkier than the Ipod Classic. Also when you put videos you have not bought on it the video and the audio sometimes dont go at the same time. Yeah you can send music from five feet away to your friends but that is pretty much all you can send is music and the sent music can only be played three times for three days... But the good things about it is it has Radio.
