I don't like the idea of people carrying around concealed weapons, especially guns. I don't live in CA anymore, but I know the wackos (even without criminal records or mental illness) where I live now would be shooting at anything and everything. Not to say that gays don't have a right to defend themselves against violence. I just think that maybe they should all enroll in karate classes, or something along that line...

I mean, people here carry concealed weapons quite often, anyway, legally, or not. A lot more people do than what the average person realizes.

The question is, what bigoted BS has driven these people to such drastic action in the first place...

Guns will not stop violence though, they will only escalate it. I'm fairly sure the majority of gay bashers probably haven't committed any crimes which are on record as well.

I know, lets give kids guns. Armed kids don't get picked up by pedophiles....

I actually stopped a gay bashing once. It was in W. Hollywood late at night. I saw this kid surrounded by 3 gang looking guys taunting him with anti-gay threats. They had chains and the kid was scared to death. My partner and I took out the only thing we had - a metal 3' level out of the trunk of our car and confronted them. Of course, they ran away like the sissies they were.

I don't support any concealed carry laws.
