Can you make couscous in the crockpot?

Can you make couscous in the crockpot??

I'm making slow cooker beans. I've added rice before and it turned out well. But have never tried couscous. I am new to that food so am not sure. TIA.

Update:

Ah. I didn't take into account the need to fluff it.

Or the fact it is so quick to make. Thanx. I will probably just cook separately and serve the beans over it.

No I would not. Instead make the cous cous seperate and serve the crock pot meal over the cous cous.

Cous cous take such a short amount of time to make and then you need to fluff it or you will have one large clumpy mess.

Why bother? Couscous takes about 5 minutes to make. There is no need to use the crockpot.

You don't cous cous really takes 5 min or less and you would end up getting pasta mush. I agree your best method would be tadd it at the end. I would suggest removing the chicken and measuing how much liquid you have and doing it in a sepereate dish. It would be a great way to add flavor to the cous cous though.
