Is this happening to it.any one else? I noticed it on Sunday, there were many new queastions in each of the catagories I usually vist. Monday everything was from Sunday, Tuesday everything was from Sunday etc...

One or two questions pop up that are new but after I answer them I no longer see them in that catagory.

WHY are people still able to answer questions from Years ago that have been closed, i.e. best answer chosen etc and why can't I delete questions ay more.

Is there a way to contact a google support team and not just chance it with forums?

I have an e-mail thru google, although it's not an official g-mail account. I can send e-mails just fine but I can Not receive them. All I want to find out is if there is something I need to do to get my account fully functioning, or am I going to have to start completely over.

No the "Google Support" number does not work.

I know of thermometers where you can leave a prob in the smoker, and then bring another with you so you don't have to hoover of the grill. But I recently heard about one that also has an app with it so that you can get temperature notifications sent to your phone. Does anyone know what I am talking about, and if you do do you have any suggestions of brands or stores or online sites to buy them?

Just curious, If someone fills out a 1099 then they are not officially an employee of a business, but rather a self employee individual that hires them self out.

But talking with other people yesterday just made me wonder, as it got confusing for me... (this is not my specialty at all) does a salaried employee still fill out a W-4?

Hi. I have asked a few question on here before and received great help. I am not pro but try to do the books for my families small business.

I have cash reciepts and sometimes we keep the cash from a sale so we can pay a few personal things (owners equity) and small thing for the "shop". How do I show a bill paid with cash. I know I can enter it in "enter bills" but how do I show a payment with "cash on hand".

Okay so I have/had Microsoft office, it came with my computer but now about a year later it is gone, so I am guessing I forgot about agreeing to a one year package deal.

Anyway I asked for some advice last week and was told about http://libreoffice.org/ which seems like it would work, but will I be able to open my old Microsoft word and excel documents in this libre?

Also if my Microsoft Office is gone why am I still able to use programs like Microsoft Movie Maker etc...

I purchased a new computer last year, it had microsoft office on it. Well a year later when I try to open various documents it takes me to a screen to purchase for another year, or try a limited time free trial. I am going with the free trial for now, but I really thought this was included in the package with the computer... the computer was purchased for me so I don't know the details of it.

Anyway will I have to end up buying/renewing Office Every year for $100.00 bucks or is there was way to buy it out right?

The screen doesn't want to turn on. It constantly says Monitor going to sleep. And somes times when I turn it on the computer itself. Its like it is constantly restarting...

I am looking to buy a new home phone for my 92 year old grandmother. The phone she has is hard to hear and sounds almost muffled... I am sure it is about 20 years old. I don't have a lot of money to spend on this but it would really make talking to her much easier. I am really looking at spending around $50 or so.

The requirements are:

One base line and another handset to keep handy by her bed

Clarity on her end

A built in answering machine. I really doubt she will do the digital VM where she has to enter a password

Good deal for the money

What would you suggest- brand- style etc..., and where to buy it.

Do they still do DVDs?
