can someone help me save my green spotted puffers?!?!!?

I have only had him for about a week, I recently switched him and his brother over to a brackish water tank appropriate size for them. This morning he was fine and i checked the amonia and PH and salinity and everything was fine. I came home from work and he was a very pale color, his stomach is black and his spots are dissapearing. I studied him for a while trying to figure out what was wrong and i noticed a small bump behind the fin on his tummy. I think that might contribute to the problem but i am not completely sure what it is. Also, i bought some parasitic snails and introduced them into the tank for food and some frozen brine shrimp. The lady at the store told me to let it thaw and pour it into the tank and after i did so i looked at the back and it said thawed is really really bad, but wouldnt that affect the other fish to? i dont know whats wrong with him and its really scary because i have grown really attached to him. Can someone help fast?

Update:

theyve been together their whole lives, these fish were kinda passed on to me. I cant seperate them now. And yes they have a constant temp of 78.

Update 2:

btw when i put the airator in my puffer tank from my oscar tank the 1st sick puffer perked right up. He was originally curled up in a ball in a plant and the second i put it in there he started playing in the bubbles

First, there should be no more than one puffer in the tank. Seperate them.

Second, is the tank heated to an appropriate temperature? I know my GSP gets very ill if not kept in the right temperature range.

Third, the white spot you are describing could be either a flesh wound or an infection. Quarantine this fish and medicate it with a med from the pet store. Some one there will be able to help you choose the right kind.

Well he couldve gotten parasites from eating the snail (explains they're name..)

    He seems kinda bloated.

You can easily get bloated from brine shrimp ( due to they're shell) if you feed to many of them.

Try to get him to eat a warmed pea

if you didn't acclimate them to the brackish then that could be what is making them sick if they go from fresh water to all of a sudden salty water. also they might not be mature enough to even need brackish water yet
