This actually isn't bad. My doctor says not to be too concerned unless you soak though more than a pad per hour. Sounds like a lot but that comes straight from my physician. I really think a D&C would really be going too far. If you have changed birth control recently then that could be the cause. Don't have a procedure like that that can potentially cause you reproductive harm if it isn't done correctly. It's not worth it especially since you aren't experiencing heavy bleeding. I know it may be heavier than what you are used to but for most women 4 pads is the norm.
Hope this helps.

My cousin goes through this type of thing like 6 times a year and she is 30 years old with 2 kids, and when she's having those heeeaaavvyy periods she wears a pad, pantiliner, and a tampon and if she bleeds through all of that then she has a D&C done because if she doesn't she'll keeep bleeding like that for another week or so.

Sounds like you need a D&C (Dialate and Curette) basically it cleans your uterus lining out and helps your body stop the bleeding - the other thing is, is it possible you were pregnant and are aborting? Either way you need to see a Dr and get some tests done and Im guessing they will suggest the D&C

You should see a doctor, this may be normal for some women but sounds like its way out of the ordinary for you. So if you haven't had any lifestyle changes such as medications or anthing you may have a health problem

Well, most people are saying it's D&C. So, if you want more information about that... then have a look at this website:

Go and see a Doctor, just to be on the safe side.
Good luck and i hope it's nothing serious. X
