Where can I get an aftermarket 6 speed manual transmission for a show truck?

I want a 6 speed Manual Transmission strong enough to take around 500HP and 500ft TQ. Where can I get one for a truck/blazer? I would also need a clutch.

I would rather get one out of a current vehicle, such as a vette, or another vehicle if I knew it would work. Anyone know what the best route to take here is?

And please don't bother answering if you just want to tell me to use a different transmission. I don't want to. It's my money and my time. I want what I want thanks.

Update:

the truck will be a 69-70 blazer with a 383 built from a small block 350. I would like to keep the 4 wheel drive, but the truck will mainly be for show/street. I just want the 4x4 for the occasional beach cruises, otherwise I'd get a 4x2 and stick a vette tranny in it.

The 'tremec T-56' 6 spd used in' 93-97' Z28s and Firebird TAs should fit the bill. The ones used in the later models are even a little stouter.

They are not cheep, good used examples will be in the $1700-2200 range, and @ $2600 threw Summit or Jeg's without bell housings.

As long as you are using a series one small block clutch and bell housing as well as flywheel and pressure plate should bolt right up.

I didn't mention truck transmissions due to the unusably low first gear making them essentially a 5sp.

Not sure if a donner from an LS1 car will work.

    Good Luck.

Not sure but the '09 Corolla XRS uses the same 2.4 liter engine as the TC and with a 6 speed manual from the factory. You might want to check that one out.

if you're talking Chev.,I believe a 6 spd.from a 3500 or 4500 series would do the trick. you will also need clutch, flywheel, pressure platefluid reservoir, linkage, etc.forgive me if I've left out anything.
