Youtube technical help?
I posted a video file saved in a 16x9 (widescreen) aspect format. But
when it was uploaded the video was being displayed as 4:3 (fullscreen)
on the page. Why did this happen and how can I stop it from happening
again?
Just so you know, I used Windows Movie Maker to make the video, and
yes I went into the options in WMM and set it to 16x9.

The video appears widescreen on the page, but there are black bars on the left and right sides when text is up. Plus, the pictures arent suppoused to be squished like that.

When I click on your link, the video is in wide screen.
Edit: Hmm, that is odd, then. The text screens are almost full screen but not quite. The images do not appear too squished to me, but I cannot say for sure since I do not have the original images to compare them to. If I had to pick a reason for this, I would say it is a difference in how WMM and youtube read sizes. You may want to try cutting down on the vertical in WMM a bit to see if the video will take advantage of the width on youtube as a test.
This is far from 4:3, but what is the exact resolution you uploaded it at? Are you 100% sure the ratios match up to 16:9?
