Which of Japan's Top Three Sites Have You Seen?

There are many lists, so here they are:

http://wikitravel.org/en/Japan%27s_Top_3

Which have you seen? Have you seen any of the lists completely? (Was it intentional?)

I've seen:

-Miyajima (Top 3 View)

-Mount Fuji (Famous Mountains)

-Todaiji (Famous Daibutsu)

-Fushimi Inari (Great Inari Shrines)

-Saijo Inari (Great Inari Shrines)

Nankin-machi (Top Chinatowns)

uh, waitaminute... japanese don't care for the list? Who do you think came up with those lists in the first place? Japanese have been labeling everything on the island as top 3 something of Japan/area since the Edo Period. You've got National Top lists and regional top lists.

I've not heard of this particular list but I have heard of similar lists or rankings in guide books and travel brochures.

For example of regional ranking, last year I went to Hirosaki's Snow Lantern Festival which is supposedly listed as one of the Top 5 snow festivals of the Tohoku area.

    Anyway,

    Views: Matsushima many times

    Castles: Himeji, Matsumoto, and Kumamoto

-National Treasure Castles: Hikone, Inuyama, Hirosaki

    Gardens: Kairakuen, Kōrakuen

Mountains - been around, near, and over it but this year I plan to finally climb Mt. Fuji

Big Buddhas: Nara and Kamakura plus another big one in Aomori

Festivals: Gion and Sanno plus Nebuta and Neputa

been to lots of onsens but none of those on the list

new night views: Nara from Mount Wakakusayama

    Oshu Holy places: Kinkasan

    Great Shrines: Fushimi Inari,

    Chinatown(?): Yokohama

    Castles: Himeji, Hikone and Shuri

    Gardens: Kenrokuen

    Mountains: Fuji

    Big Buddhas: Kamakura and Nara

    Great Inari Shrines:Fushimi Inari

Great Hot Springs: Atami and Beppu

    Famous springs; Gero

    Nightviews: Hakodate, Kobe and Nagasaki

Hidden Regions: Shirakawa-Go and Iya Valley

    Chinatowns: Yokohama and Nagasaki

Japanese do not care the list so much.

Only travel lovers care it. I'm a travel lover, but only international travel, hehe.

What I have seen among the list is Mt. Fuji and Buddha in Kamakura.

Fuji and Todaiji are great but there are many more excellent places that dont make the lists.

i've been to a lot of japan but don't remember all that much because there were so many temple visits...

i loved tokyo, especially the disneyland there and how the pirates of the caribbean ride said 'dead men tell no tales' in japanese.

    mount fuji was awesome too

and some castle with lots of cherry blossom trees surrounding it
