How many want all races have to finish with at least 5 green laps of racing .?
In NASCAR they have the green white checker finish. I wish the races ended in with at least 5 green laps or at least 2 attempts at the Green white checked finish. I would rather they red flag the race at 5 to go than run cautions laps then have to do a green white checked finish. How do you wish the races finished when caution flag is thrown with less than 10 laps .

Green, white, checker has to go.. As well as the lucky dog..
It ain't racin'.. We could have the drivers pick their finishing
positions out of a hat.. That ain't racing either.. Anyone who
is a race fan knows that racing brings it's own drama, if you
allow it to develop.. The current rules, don't allow that to happen..
If Brian France doesn't think that 43 cars screaming into turn one
at Daytona, at 190 mph is exciting enough, he needs to buy a football
team, so he can watch a bunch of thugs walk around in circles, scratching their butts for three minutes, in between three second plays..
Now that's drama.. lol

I have to disagree. While 2 laps at say Bristol is really only about 30 seconds of racing, 2 laps at Watkins Glen or Infineon is almost 2 1/2 minutes of racing.
Red flagging the race just to get a green flag finish isn't my idea of an exciting finish. Finish the race at 500 miles or whatever and be done. So what if the race finishes under caution? It doesn't make it any less interesting to watch, and in fact it makes it somewhat more dangerous to think that if some driver ran out of fuel at the restart there could be a huge 30 car pileup that could hurt someone.

I'd like several green flag laps at the end, but I absolutely hate red flags near the end. Don't extend the race for 20 minutes some cheap way like that. I don't really care for green-white-checkered finishes to be honest, but that's a different discussion. Sometimes races are just going to end under caution.

2 attempts at a GWC. I like the quickness of the restart. Makes the drivers make a move quicker, but the caution = end sucks. Within 25 laps of the finish, caution laps should not count. A lucky dog should be given during any caution, 10 to go or not. 3 or less laps to go= GWC. 2 attempts at that. Finish the race, always. Oh, and races must run all laps. No more gay rainouts.

I disagree. The race should be x number of laps period. They race hundreds of miles over several hours. If the final lap is under caution, so be it. Nascar has enough rules designed to fabricate excitement and I'm tired of it. Nascar is a sport and sport is entertaining. Fabricated "excitement" is not exciting. Call me a purist but that is my two cents.

If your going to wish, wish for something big. It doesn't matter what rules NASCAR makes, as long as the rules are set before the race starts. The competition will basically be level at that point, so it doesn't really matter.

Green/white/checkers isn't perfect, but it beats the heck out of races ending under caution. Coasting to the finish line is so sad.
